The Werewolf Song

Sister’s boyfriend  he’s a werewolf
He stays out all night
Running ‘round on all fours
Chasing everything in sight
I told mama about it
She said, “That’s alright”
Sister’s boyfriend he’s a werewolf
It’s making me uptight.

I said, ‘Mama he’s a werewolf
He rips open peoples throats’
She said, “Werewolf is a vulgar term
They prefer lycanthrope.
Sister hasn’t many boyfriends
She’s really kind of plain
So be nice and polite to him
And forget your wolf bane.”

Then in walked sister and her boyfriend
It must have been a full moon
He had blood on his face
His shirt and his shoes
I said, ‘Sister you went with him?
I think that’s going too far.’
She said, “Not in these hi-heels, silly,
I waited in the car.”

Sister’s boyfriend he’s a werewolf
I don’t think he cares for me
Since the jokes about
Silver bullets, parvo
And his fleas.
At dinner Mama asked him,
“What would you like for dessert?”
He just looked at me and smiled
And said, “Don’t worry
This won’t hurt.”
